Chadbury Farm Shop – 5 Years in the Planning

The Chadbury Farm Shop you see today is the culmination of 5 years planning. As 5th generation arable farmers, here in the Vale of Evesham, we, like many other farms, felt the time had come to diversify and extend the range of the farm’s business.

So we decided to open a Farm Shop.

Chadbury Farm Shop opened on the 1st September 2011 and is built on a field where we used to graze our horses. Chadbury Farm Shop itself was, in fact, originally a grain store, but with part funding from Advantage West Midlands’ Rural Grant Enterprise, it was turned into the country Farm Shop you see today. In keeping with our efforts to stock from local sources wherever possible, we ensured that only local builders and tradesmen worked on the re-fit of the grain store and made sure that all the fixtures and fittings inside the shop were either made or supplied by local people.

We spent hours researching the items we should stock in the Chadbury Farm Shop, not only visiting other Farm Shops far and wide, but also asking friends and family what they would like to see on the shelves.

The results are what you see today at Chadbury farm Shop – a clean, but country feel for a shop providing locally sourced and seasonal produce. What more could you ask for?
